There is not much to say about Trump’s press Conference today where he tried to talk about the tragic air crash last night. He said and did nothing new or unexpected. He dragged out all the traditional fall guys for your inspection before any facts, hard or otherwise, are available. I just wish to point out three things.
- The conference was not about the crash, it was about him. He saw this as just another opportunity to take the Spotlight. Which he did in his usual inevitable style.
- Other than the statements that the crash occurred, where it occurred and that “his” agencies are on the job nothing he said was true.
- Look for more of the Classic Trump Showboating at every news event for the next four years.
Finally, one last note: while it is tempting to just tune him out, DON’T. This is one of his goals. If you tune him out you will not see what he is up to and you will not be able to take any corrections actions.
